A vibrant, warm city brimming with exciting things to do, Brisbane has formally been chosen by the IOC to host the 2032 Summer Olympic Games, making it the third time the Olympics will return to Australia.
Set on the banks of the Brisbane River the city is home to many river-side precincts. The iconic heritage-listed Story Bridge spans the river and is known for its LED lighting displays and scenic bridge climbs. Kayak down the Brisbane River or abseil over it’s gorgeous banks.

Head over to South Bank with 17 hectares of lush parklands, world-class eateries, aqua lagoon swimming pools with white sandy banks and stunning river views. Brisbane is close to many national parks and wilderness areas including Mt Tambourine, Stradbroke Island and Moreton Island home to Tangalooma shipwrecks, quad biking, sandboarding and dolphin feeding.
