Swan Valley
Swan Valley is a food and wine lovers paradise, with vineyards and growers populating the idyllic countryside landscape. Choose on of seven themed ‘Swan Valley trails’ to explore the region, from fine Wine, to fresh produce, to family fun, you can choose your own amazing adventure.
Rottnest Island
This island is the home of the Quokkas, just 19km’s off the coast of Perth. The picturesque island has free guided tours, snorkeling, canoeing and hiking, but the biggest attraction is definitely the animals. The island has become famous thanks to the Quokkas that reside there. These cute marsupials are easy to spot and very friendly, seemingly unafraid of tourists and happy to pose for an adorable selfie. You can also spot dolphins and Whales.
Kings Park
One of the largest inner city parks in the world, Kings park is a beautiful spot to enjoy a picnic and a stroll overlooking the city and Swan River.
Freemantle
Just 30 minutes from the Perth CBD is the eclectic harbourside town of Freemantle. Enjoy delicious coffee, street food or fish and chips and explore the history of the town through the arts centre, museums and the old prison. Shop for unique gifts or souvenirs at the artisan boutiques or jump in for a swim at Bathers Beach.

Best time to go:
September to November is a wonderful time to visit Perth as the weather is perfect and the flowers are in spring bloom. Summer can get very hot and winters can be a little too chilly to fully enjoy the region.
