Glebe Markets
Wander one of Sydney’s largest markets to taste local treats, and peruse plentiful stalls of creative wares and artworks for sale. It’s a wonderful place to pick up a souvenir and spend Saturday morning strolling through this vibrant scene to the tune or the resident musicians who play there. There are also many opportunities to pick up a vintage gem, as many local fashionistas will set up stalls to rehome unwanted clothing, much of which is ultra-stylish.
Bondi Beach
Sydney’s most famous beach is a must-see, with its bustling surfer vibe, beach murals, and expansive white sands. Dive into the surf or wander the surrounding beachy boutiques, before grabbing a delicious lunch or smoothy from one of the many vendors along the strip.
CBD
Explore Sydney’s wonderful architecture and shopping with a walk around the CBD. Start at town hall station to visit the Queen Victoria Building with its stained glass and intricate tiling. Be sure to look up to view the amazing Clocks hanging in the upper levels. If you’re lucky you can also catch a tune on the public grand piano between browsing the unique array of stores.
Newtown
Located in Sydney’s Inner West, Newtown is a hipster Hub rich with Cafe’s unique stores and entertainment venues. Take a stroll down King Street and you never know what you might find. From put put golf, to boutique cinemas, there’s plenty to explore and the unique outfits of the local bohemian community add colour and excitement to this metropolitan strip.
